Football tips 1X2 for Valencia vs Real Betis
Valencia faces Real Betis in a match rematch of the 1/2 finals of the Copa del Rey. The duel will be played on Thursday, 28 February, at the Estadio de Mestalla in Valencia, with the hosts being the favorites to qualify for the final in the tournament.
Real Betis could not take the lead before the second leg, after Estadio Benito Villamarin’s first game ended in a 2-2 lead. Quique Setien’s graduates found the score in the 45th minute with Loren Moron’s goal, and nine minutes after the start of the second half, Joaquin doubled the lead in the green-white. Valencia narrowed the score in the 70th minute after Denis Cheryshev scored a beautiful goal. French striker Kevin Gameiro scored for 2:2 in the 92nd minute, giving Valencia a better chance of winning the final.
On Sunday, the Valencia team finished equally 1:1 against the Leganes of Estadio Municipal de Butarque in the 25th round of La Liga. The Bats ranked ninth in the standings with three points less than their upcoming Betis, who is seventh. Marcelino’s graduates play well on Estadio de Mestalla with three wins in their last five games. The Oranges have not allowed a goal in their previous three games against their own audience. If Valencia retains a dry net in the upcoming match, it will certainly qualify for the Copa del Rey final.
Real Betis achieved an important victory on Sunday with a 2-0 draw against Real Valladolid on Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla. Quique Setien’s team scored one goal at the end of the first half and at the end of the match by Aissa Mandi and Joaquin. Midfielder Giovani Lo Celso made a new strong match and was at the heart of his team’s success, though he failed to score a shot. With this success over Valladolid, Real Betis’s team returned to the winning streak after the loss of Rennes 1:3 in the Europa League tournament. Betis has dropped out of Europe’s second-strong European club tournament and now has to focus his efforts on home tournaments. In my view, however, Valencia will eliminate Quique Setien’s team and the hosts will qualify for the final match.
